PURPOSE:To form an image having an excellent gradation even in a wax type heat transfer system by providing static build-up preventive layers on both sides of a sheet having fine uneven parts on its front face. CONSTITUTION:A heat transfer image receiving sheet is provided with an image receiving layer 3 having a fine uneven part 2 on the front face of a base material sheet 1, and with static build-up preventive layers 4, 4' on both side faces. When a heat transfer sheet is superposed on the heat transfer image receiving sheet of such a structure and heated from behind by a thermal head 5, since the area of a wax ink layer 7 on a base material sheet 6 is smaller than that of the part 2, the layer 7 of the part corresponding to transferred one dot is pulverized to many pieces, excellent moving property is imparted to the sheet 1 by the extremely thin layers 4, 4' on the image receiving layer faces without loss of the function of the part 2 thereby to form an image having excellent gradation even by the wax type heat transfer system. |
