PURPOSE: To speedily assemble a coupling device for an automobile by providing an arm to elastically deflect a lock means to be adjacent to one leg part of a clip roughly in a U-letter shape which can be elastically deformed to cover a shackle. CONSTITUTION: A shackle 20 to pivotally movably coupled a drive and a driven shafts 10 to each other has a bridge part 23 engaged in a stem 12 of a non- circular cross section, and it is coupled by fastening of a screw 31 and a nut 32 of a fixing means 30. The shackles 20 are connected to each other to be pivotally movable at an axis 21. In this case, a clip or a clip 40 which can be elastically deformed is preliminarily installed to cover the bridge part 23, the nut 32 is held in an orifice 223 by elastic deformation of an arm part 43, and the screw 31 is tightened to the nut 32 in this condition. The drive shaft and the driven shaft 10 can thus be safety and speedily coupled to each other. |
