PURPOSE:To make decompressing action starting pressure in a reducing valve determinable with one spring alone in times of empty and loading cars, by installing an elastomer-make elastic body in addition in at least part of a compression coiled spring which determines the decompressing action starting pressure in the reducing valve. CONSTITUTION:Stepping on a brake pedal 1, when output oil pressure in an output port P2 of a master cylinder M goes up beyond the specified value, a reducing valve 6 controlling hydraulic fluid pressure in a rear wheel brake Br is provided with a pressure receiving piston 7 and a spherical valve body 11 opening or closing an interconnecting oil passage 10 between input and output oil chambers 8 and 9 installed at both sides of the piston. And, one end of a compression coiled spring 17 makes contact with the pressure receiving piston 7, while the shaft part 24 of a control piston 23 is so designed to be touchable to the valve body 11. In this case, part of the compression coiled spring 17 is embedded in a hollow, cylindrical elastic body 18 composed of rubber or the like and decompressing action starting pressure in times of empty and loading cars is determined by an exposed part 17a and an embedded part 17b of the spring 17 as well as each spring constant of the elastic body 18. |
