PURPOSE:To obtain a formed product of boiled product edible only by heating by an electric oven, having excellent restoration properties in freezing and then thawing by reducing water content on the surface of rice grain of boiled rice, blending the boiled rice with a liquid substance and molding. CONSTITUTION:Boiled rice is rapidly cooled by a vacuum cooler, etc., to reduce water content on the surface of boiled rice, fed to a molding machine, blended with an oil in a hopper 3, then with a liquid substance (e.g. seasoning solution), fed to a mold 5, molded to give a molded product 9 of boiled rice having excellent shape retention and texture. |
