PURPOSE:To image-process an original, which has a cut and stuck part, as it is and to prevent the shadow of an edge in the cut and stuck part from being left by specifying an erasing frame through a coordinate input device and processing so that the image information of the original in a part which corresponds with the erasing frame is erased. CONSTITUTION:Between the main electrification corona discharger 10 and the developing device 11, an erasing cell array 15 for erasing a prescribed range of an image is provided near a photosensitive drum 9. When an original having a cut and stuck part is image-processed, an erasing frame is first specified by the use of the coordinate input device. An image processing control means determines an erasing frame according to the specification, and controls so that image information in the corresponding part is erased. Therefore, even if the shadow of the edge in the cut and stuck part is read as image information, the image information in the part is erased by the erasing cell array 15 since the position corresponding to the edge is specified as the erasing frame. |
