摘要 PURPOSE:To make display brightness constant even if pattern display capacity varies by detecting the output voltage of a converter circuit, which generates a driving voltage for a display panel, by means of a microcomputer, and varying a blanking signal. CONSTITUTION:An anode driver supply voltage 13 wherein an input voltage 14 is boosted by a DC-DC converter 5 is converted into 8-bit digital data 15 by an A/D converter 4, and it is supplied to the microcomputer 1. The computer 1 varies the blanking signal 8 according to the data 15. When the supply voltage 13 is high, the computer 1 lengthens the blanking period of the signal 8 to shorten the display period of the display device; when the supply voltage 13 is low, the computer 1 shortens the blanking period of the signal 8 to lengthen the display period of the display device. Consequently, even if the supply voltage 13 varies, the display brightness can be made constant by varying the blanking signal.
