PURPOSE:To display a large-sized picture where a boundary between sectional pictures is not viewed by means of each projector by forming the liquid crystal picture elements of liquid crystal panels and screen picture elements projected on a screen so as to attain one-to-one correspondence, and making intervals between the screen elements equal. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal panels 11 where the liquid crystal picture elements 12 are arranged, are used as picture display devices. The sectional pictures displayed on the liquid crystal panels 11 are enlarged and projected on the screen by the projectors 2. The liquid crystal picture elements 12 of the liquid crystal panels 11 and the screen elements 16 projected on the screen 1 are formed so as to attain one-to-one correspondence, and moreover, the intervals between the screen picture elements are made equal. Thereby, the positions of the liquid crystal pictures 12 which display pictures are always fixed. Thus, a pitch between the sectional pictures projected by the adjacent projectors 2 and the elements is kept constant, and the boundary between the sectional pictures is not viewed. |
