JOINT OF PLASTIC LAMINATED GLASS PANEL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and certain airtight or watertight joint by a method wherein one of the plastic sheet layers of a plastic laminated glass panel is left to cut other layer and the left plastic sheet layer is used in bending as a flexible joint. CONSTITUTION:A plastic sheet 1 is bonded to the single surface of a glass panel 2 by an adhesive and only the glass panel is cut at a predetermined position and the plastic sheet 1 is bent along the cut position to form a joint part. Further, the joint of the plastic laminated glass panel wherein the plastic sheets 1 are bonded to both surfaces of the glass panel 2 can be formed. The joint part can be more certainly made airtight or watertight by embedding a sealing agent in the gap 3 of a corner, mounting a round rod 5a to said gap 3 by a sealing agent, mounting a wedge-shaped rod 5b to said gap corresponding to the bending angle of the cross-section thereof by the sealing agent or mounting an edge cover 5c to the corner.
