<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate cleaning in a tank without damaging function by providing an electric water heater with a water spray plate in the neighborhood of a hot water supply port to which a hot water feed pipe is connected in the tank. CONSTITUTION:Water is vigorously discharged from upward from a hot water feed pipe 5 into a tank 1 via a joint 6 by changing over a mixing faucet 3 to a water feed pipe 4 side, closing a hot water feed tap 7 and opening a water feed faucet 2. The gushing water strikes a water spray plate 10 provided in the tank 1 and is scattered by the water spray plate 10. The scattered water uniformly spatters the inner wall surface of the tank 1 and flows down along the inner wall surface. A water flow washes off deposit attached to the inner wall surface of the tank 1 and is discharged from the lower portion of the tank 1 via a drainage faucet 8. Thus, the inside of the tank 1 can be easily cleaned up without conducting a special operation.</p> |
