PURPOSE: To elongate the service life by providing a rolling bearing in a bearing bell having the closed upper part, fixing a bearing part to be provided in the central part of a cup-shaped wheel body, and reliably preventing invasion of water to the rolling bearing. CONSTITUTION: A bus (omnibus) capable of freely traveling along tracks 11 arranged on both sides is provided with transverse guide rollers 8 to be supported on the free end of a support arm 6 for controlling steerage of a rolling ring 4, on both sides of a region of a front shaft 2. In this case, the region of a rolling bearing 14 of a journal 12 for supporting a roller 8 is increased into a bell shape and taken as a bearing bell 19. The bearing bell 19 is so extended as to protect and seal the whole rolling bearing 14 by the upper side to receive an outer ring 15 of the bearing 14. Moreover, a cup-shaped wheel body 18 having an opening substantially released upward and a bearing part 22 projecting from the bottom part 21 is provided, the bearing 14 is fixed to the bearing part 22 through an inner ring 16, and an outflow hole 25 for water is formed on the bottom part 21 of a cup. |
