PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having improved dielectric constant, dielectric loss and insulation resistance by adding ZnO, an Mn compound and a Pr compound, a Tb compound, an Eu compound or a Gd compound to a specific multiple oxides. CONSTITUTION:The objective high-dielectric ceramic composition having a dielectric constant of >=1,000, a dielectric loss (tandelta) of <=1.0% and an insulation resistance(IR) of >=1X10<5>MOMEGA is produced by adding 0.8-2.0wt.% of ZnO, 0.1-0.5wt.% of an Mn compound (e.g. MnO2) and 0.8-1.8wt.% (in terms of Pr6O11, Tb4O7, Eu2O3 and Gd2O3) of one or more compounds selected from Pr compounds, Tb compounds, Eu compounds and Gd compounds to 100 pts.wt. of barium calcium titanate zirconate which is multiple oxides having a purity of >=99.0% and expressed by (Ba1-xCax)(Ti1-yZry)O3 wherein 0<=x<0.1 and 0.1<y<0.16 in terms of molar ratio. |
