PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively stock a considerable number of articles of many kinds and stereoscopically and effectively utilize the installation space of a building forming a conveyance hold section with many unit conveyance hold sections arranged in many stages and in many rows in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction. SOLUTION: A conveyance hold section 6 has seven stages, 20 rows, and 140 lines, for example, and boxes W1 of articles of 140 kinds at the maximum can be conveyed and held and in separate conveying/holding lines 6-N-M for the articles of the same kind. The articles of the same kind are manually or mechanically mounted on a mount section 1 in sequence at proper intervals, and they are fed to the work conveying/holding line of the conveyance hold section 6 through a distribution section 2, the first discharge section, the first intermediate path section 4, and the second discharge section. When one or multiple lines of the articles of this kind are plugged, works of another kind are loaded on the mount section 1. The articles of different kinds are loaded in sequence on the conveyance hold section 6, and the articles are normally held on all lines. |
