PURPOSE:To improve a mechanical strength, a reliability, and a durability by incorporating a platinum in an adhesive for an information recording medium laminated using the silicone adhesive. CONSTITUTION:A pair of substrates 21, 25 are provided by forming an optical recording layer on one surface of at least one of the disk-form substrates. An information recording medium 1 is formed by laminating the substrates 21, 25 on each other directly or through spacers 3, 39 using silicone adhesives 34, 36 with the recording layer disposed inside. An organohydrodienepolysiloxane containing Si-H group in the ratio of 0.02 - 1.0 mol% of total organic groups of R''2SiO unit and methyl group mainly in the remaining ratio is incorporated in an organopolysiloxane produced by partially condensing a copolymer resin containing SiO2 unit and R3SiO0.5 unit and an organopolysiloxane having R2'SiO unit in the amount of 1 - 6 wt.% per the mixture of the copolymer resin and the organopolysiloxane. A platinum catalyst is added to the obtained mixture to prepare an adhesive. This adhesive is used as the silicone adhesive. |
