<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a tape medium from being damaged even if it is wound in any of an outer periphery of a reel hub by setting a depth of a reel hub recessed part to a value which is equal to or more than addition of a length of a leader block and a gap between the block and a thread pin. CONSTITUTION:A standard length of a leader block 10 with an engagement hole 10c where a gap with a thread pin 13 is d is set to D1 from a central axis line CL of the pin 13 and a radium dimension D2 of a reel hub is set to D1 + d or longer. In this manner, although the block 10 is pulled out by d only when a tape medium 14 is taken up in direction B, the block 10 does not protrude from an outer periphery of the hub 22, thus preventing the medium 14 from being broken and damaged. No problems are produced even if the tape medium 14 is taken up in the opposite direction to the direction B.</p> |
