PURPOSE:To prevent the escape of water through an overflow port in a hopper, which is a rim type valve device for a hot-water branch line provided to an automatic hot-water supplier, so as to avoid trouble occurring from such escape of water such as slopping of the surroundings around the automatic hot-water supplier or the floor near it. CONSTITUTION:A bathwater supply line 29 is provided as a means of connecting a hot-water branch line 27 and a after-heating line 21 using therebetween a hopper 30 equipped with a solenoid valve 31 on the side of the inlet and a check valve 32 on the side of the outlet. The hopper 30 has under a rim type valve 33 a water chamber 36 with an overflow port 34 and a water level detector 35 and this water chamber 36 is connected by a pipe 37 to a cross valve 23 provided on the primary side of a circulating pump 22. A control device 40 is provided under the control of which, when the water level detector 35 has detected water, the cross valve 23 is shifted to the pipe 37 and the circulating pump 22 causes the water in the water chamber 36 to flow through the after-heating line 21 and to be discharged into the bathtub 26 and this discharge into the bathtub is continued while the water level detector 35 senses water. |
