PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of sound and to make low-speed driving possible even if driving parameters such as the pulse width, pulse duration, etc., of AC voltage to be applied to the piezoelectric element of an ultrasonic motor are changed. CONSTITUTION:In the case of intermittent driving with the first parameter corresponding to high output and the second parameter corresponding to low output, pair values by which a motor speed can be changed linearly are stored beforehand in a CPU 64 in a steplike way. And low-speed driving with low sound volume can be realized, even if the output corresponding to driving parameter values does not change linearly, by reading out these stored pair values. |
