METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CLEANING BATH WATER

PURPOSE:To rapidly clean bath water from the start of use by providing a cleaning part to the route circulating bath water in a bathtub and using a carrier having bacteria preliminarily immobilized thereon in the cleaning part. CONSTITUTION:In the immobilization of bacteria on a carrier, bath water is circulated while the amounts of COD and ammoniacal nitrogen are controlled by a bath water cleaning apparatus having a cleaning part in a circulating route to propagate undernutrition bacteria and nitrite bacteria and the cleaning part is subsequently packed with a carrier to immobilize bacteria. This carrier is received in a container having water received therein and moved to an apparatus to be used and received in the cleaning part 1 to be used. The bath water 3 of a bathtub 2 is sucked in a first conduit 5 by a pump 4 to be supplied to the cleaning part 1 and heated to predetermined temp. by a heater 7 to be supplied to packed columns 8, 9 packed with the carrier to be cleaned. Bacteria are preliminarily immobilized on 1/4 of the total amount of the carrier but gradually immobilized on the surface of the remainder of the carrier free from bacteria. Cleaned bath water is supplied to the bathtub 2 by a second conduit 10.
