PURPOSE: To provide a recording apparatus obtaining a high-grade recording image without generating the deterioration of image quality caused by beading. CONSTITUTION: When inputted image data is data performing recording using the nozzles provided to the end parts of the recording elements of a recording head, data values of respective color components are added by an adder 14 and, according to the added value, an ROM 16 generates a recording element number signal 17 to select image data to be corrected. In an operator 24, the image data to be corrected is multiplied by the coefficient changing corresponding to the added value to correct the value of the image data. Selectors(SEL) 25C, 25M, 25Y, 25Bk select the image data after correction or the image data outputted from an image processing part 12 according to the recording elements of the corresponding recording head and binarize the same to perform image recording. |
