PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved throat mask assembly without any danger for wound caused by a mask inserted into a patient. SOLUTION: A mask assembly is constituted by a mount 30 and a mask part 20. The mount consists of an extending part 32 for connection with a tube 1 and a backing plate 34. The mask part 20 consists of a seal ring 22 with an arranged diaphragm 26. By enlarging the backing plate 34 at a rear side of the seal ring 22 and overlapping patient side ends, the patient side ends of the seal ring 22 are suppressed from contraction rearward and a danger of a wound subjected to the patient is avoided. |
