PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically package contact lens in a packaging container like a blister bag, by providing a plurality of work stations along an endless conveyor driven intermittently and stopping respective support pallets loading package base arrays at each work station in turn. SOLUTION: A packaging device is provided with an endless conveyor and a plurality of pallets 14 separately arranged along the conveyor. Respective support pallets 14 are installed to support blister arrays. The endless conveyor is intermittently driven so that the pallets 14 stop in turn at a plurality of work stations installed separately from each other, along the upper face of the packaging device. The package base array is charged on the support pallet by a charging robot arm 19 at the first work station 40 and the lined-up condition is checked at the work station 42 and then transferred to work stations for supply of salt water, optical inspection, cover sheet seal, etc. |
