The anti-pecking device has an integrated fixing system, which is formed of two opposed pins, which are designed to penetrate into the nostrils of the beaks of the birds. One of the pins is fixed directly to the device, whilst the other, which is mobile, may be displaced longitudinally and is fixed to the device by means of clips, when the two pins are in the required positions. The mobile pin (22) is connected to the device (10) by a pivot arm (23). When the device is fitted to the bird, the mobile pin is locked into position by a ridge (24), which is located at the free end of the pivot arm. The ridge locates into the groove (26), which is formed within a spur (25), which projects from the body of the device.
