摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automatic locking device in which an obviously disadvantageous loss, in terms of time, generated due to the relative rotation between a wheel rim and a shaft at a balancing machine at the start of a balancing operation is removed by a simple and reasonable structure and by a reliable operation solution means. SOLUTION: A device is provided with a front bearing member 4 which comprises a hollow profile body 2 to be fixed to the front end part of a shaft at a balancing machine in its axial direction and which supports a wheel rim used to balance the hollow profile body 2 so as to be balanced. Then, it is provided with a threaded part 7 which is situated coaxially with the shaft at the balancing machine, which acts as a housing for a sliding part extended via the bearing member 4 and which is arranged so as to receive a ring nut by which the sliding part is locked to the wheel rim. The sliding part can be slid between a retract locking position in which the ring nut forces the wheel rim with reference to the bearing member and a front release position in which the ring nut is released from the wheel rim, and the housing is connected to a pressurization fluid source.
