<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to strip covering easily from an electric wire having the covering of different thickness or hardness by changing the cutting depth of a cutter and to make the single device applicable to many kinds of electric wires easily. SOLUTION: Provided with a pair of clamps 11, 12, which can freely be closed or opened to grip an electric wire 40 from both sides or release it respectively, a pair of cutters 21, 22, which, provided obtrusively in a certain extent from the clamps 11, 12, closes or opens with the movement of the clamps 11, 12 to make a cut in the covering 41 of the gripped electric wire 40, and two or more driving means 31, 32, which make their synthesized driving force close the clamps 11, 12 to grip the electric wire 40, this device is constituted in such a way as to change the gripping force of the clamps 11, 12 by changing the driving force synthesized by the two or more driving means and thereby to change the cutting depth into the covering 41 with the cutters 21, 22.</p> |
