<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pigment dispersion containing a pigment dispersion aid which can stably and finely disperse a pigment even in a high pigment concentration and being a general-purpose one that can be used in also white and light- color inks. SOLUTION: This dispersion contains a pigment, a pigment dispersion aid having a basic or acidic group, a pigment dispersing resin having acidic or basic groups capable of forming a salt with the basic or acidic group of the aid, a solvent and optionally a binder resin. The pigment dispersion aid comprises a modified novolac resin, 0.5 pt.wt. or above pigment dispersion aid is present per 100 pts.wt. pigment, and 1-51 pts.wt., in total, pigment dispersion aid and the pigment dispersing resin are contained.</p> |
