PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a paper money carrying defect due to creases of paper money by providing a paper money crease straightening mechanism which straightens creases of received paper money. CONSTITUTION:The paper money crease straightening mechanism which straightens creases of paper money is provided between a conventional paper money reception part 1 and a paper money carrying path 3. Though paper money inserted to the paper money reception part 11 has creases, paper money has creases straightened by the paper money crease straightening mechanism 2 before arriving at the paper money carrying path 3, and therefore, a paper money carrying defect due to creases of paper money is difficult to occur. The paper money crease straightening mechanism consists of a pair of rolls heated by a heater or one roll heated by the heater and a belt brought into contact with this roll. |
