<p>PURPOSE:To improve the adhesion between a golf ball and a paint by surface- treating the ball with an aqueous hydrochloric acid containing a metal hypochlorite before it is painted. CONSTITUTION:Aqueous hydrochloric acid containing a metal hypochlorite is obtained by dissolving 0.02-40wt.% metal hypochlorite in aqueous hydrochloric acid of a hydrochloric acid concentration of 0.05-20wt.%. Before a golf ball is painted, it is immersed in this solution, surface-treated at 10-30 deg.C for 3-12min, washed with water and dried.</p> |
