PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording material for shortening a time from printing to fixing while maintaining color developing density good by generating a cyan color. SOLUTION: The thermosensitive recording material comprises a diazonium salt, a coupler, and a base in such a manner that a coupling reaction constant at 100 deg.C is 0.1 or more and a maximum absorption wavelength λmax of a dye generated by a reaction of the salt and the coupler is 600 nm or more. In this case, embodiments of the wavelength of the diazonium of 330 to 390 nm, pKa of the coupler of 2 to 13, pKa of the base of 4 to 13 and the salt represented by Ar-N2+X (wherein Ar is an aromatic group part, and X is an acid anion) are preferable. |
