PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable production process for a thermoplastic elastomer composition that has desired performances, for example, excellent rubber elasticity, good oil retention, small permanent compression set and the like by means of a twin screw kneader in high productivity. SOLUTION: In the production of a thermoplastic elastomer composition by kneading a thermoplastic polymer containing at least 1 wt.% of a thermoplastic elastomer and oil by means of a twin screw kneader, the thermoplastic polymer is brought into contact with at least a part of the oil, then kneaded in the twin screw kneader whereby the objective thermoplastic elastomer composition is produced. |
