PURPOSE: A navigation system control apparatus operating as the automobile is provided to supply plurality of signals required for operating the navigation system on behalf of the car, so as to perform the simulating and testing of the navigation system. CONSTITUTION: The navigation system control apparatus operating as an automobile includes the first switch(420), the second switch(440), a car velocity pulse generator(460), a rotary switch(480), a direction adjustor(500) and a voice output device(520). The system includes a direction sensor, detects current position of the car using a car velocity signal and a direction signal. The first switch supplies a power, a start signal, a light signal, a park signal, a backward signal and a suspension signal to the navigation system. The second switch supplies plurality of test signals to the navigation system. The car velocity pulse generator supplies the car velocity signal to the navigation system. The rotary switch is coupled with the car velocity generator and adjusts the frequency of the car pulse signal within a predetermined range. The direction adjustor varies the deflection detected by the direction sensor so as to adjust the direction of the car. The voice output device outputs the geographical information generated at the navigation system vocally.
