The invention relates to a method for taking a soil sample. A flexible cover is fitted around a cutting head of a sampling device before the sampling device is introduced into a borehole. When a sample is being taken, the flexible cover is pierced and soil, for example, can enter the cutting head. The cutting head is thereby prevented from being contaminated with material from the walls of the borehole. The invention also relates to a sampling device provided with a flexible non-return valve, for example in the form of a pointed pouch, which is partly connected to the inner wall of the hollow cutting head of the sampling device, and to a tube for use in such a sampling device. |
