PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for ensuring PHS emergency call communication capable of making an emergency call speech by means of a CS even is there is no idle channel among general speech channels when a PHS terminal makes an emergency call to a police station or a fire station. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of a call from a PHS terminal 10, a CS 20 detects whether or not there is an idle channel in general speech channels 31, and when there is any idle channel, the CS 20 makes call connection processing to the idle channel, and when no idle channel is available, the CS 20 detects whether or not a call destination number is a preset emergency number. The CS 20 rejects the call when the call destination is other than emergency numbers on the basis of the result of detection of the call destination number, and when the call destination number is an emergency number, the CS 20 detects whether or not there is an idle channel in maintenance channels 32. The CS 20 rejects the call when there is no idle channel in the maintenance channels 32 and makes call connection between the PHS terminal 10 and the caller through the maintenance channel 32 when there is any idle channel in the maintenance channels 32. |
