PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element capable of adsorbing much more pigment in an easy process, reducing cost, enhancing efficiency and reliability in the manufacture of the photoelectric conversion element such as a pigment sensitivity type solar cell. SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element represented by a pigment sensitivity type solar cell is constituted in such a way that a transparent conductive film 4 is formed on a translucent first substrate 1, an n-type oxide semiconductor electrode 2 is formed thereon, a charge transfer layer 3 is adjacently arranged, and a substrate 6 having a counter electrode 5 is faced. An amorphous phase is contained in the n-type oxide semiconductor electrode 2. |
