METHOD OF AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLING GAIN

PURPOSE: A method of automatically controlling a gain is to automatically control an AGC(automatic gain control) voltage level and a gain controlling process, thereby increasing a controlling precision and a process yield. CONSTITUTION: A method of automatically controlling a gain comprises the steps of: determining whether a present mode is an automatic gain control mode in a factory mode; detecting an automatic gain control voltage level, if the present mode is the automatic gain control mode; determining whether a detected automatic gain control voltage level is larger than a predetermined gain level; and increasing the automatic gain control voltage level if the detected automatic gain control voltage level is larger than the predetermined gain level. The method further comprises the steps of: determining whether the predetermined gain level is greater than the automatic gain control voltage level if the detected automatic gain control voltage level is not larger than the predetermined gain level; and decreasing the automatic gain control voltage level if the detected automatic gain control voltage level is less than a predetermined gain level.
