PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring indoor friction energy are provided to previously recognize the abrasion pattern and degree of a tire tread face for a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: In a state of installing a tire, a load is applied and a tracking bed(2) is rectilinearly tracked. Several hundreds of analog signals of pressure and displacement are detected until each sensor of a sensor unit(1) perfectly escapes after the grounding moment of the tire. The analog signals are amplified by a preamplifier and digitalized by an analog/digital converter. A digital data is analyzed in a real time by using a data processing program. Then, a reactive force and a displacement amount are recognized upon actual travel.
