PURPOSE: A method for detaching stop ring attached to drill for drilling hole on print circuit board and device used therefor are provided to allow the device to be made easily by constituting simple components. Also, the method and device are provided to reduce unnecessary consumption of time and man power and to prevent unsafe accident by changing device under the condition that a case in which a drill is inserted and a case(32) for containing drill are attracted to the front side. CONSTITUTION: For detaching stop ring attached to drill for drilling hole on print circuit board and device used therefor, the method comprises a step for inserting a plurality of drills on which stop rings are fastened into a case; a step for attracting a support bed provided with a drill containing member(7) to the front side and then seating a case(32) for containing drill and the stop ring on the support bed; a step for detaching the drill and the stop ring by operating an up/down operating plate to which a plurality of press pins(14) are mounted, after retracting the support bed to the original position; and a step for attracting the detached stop ring and drill.
