PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light reflecting film capable of preventing the occurrence of moire fringes. SOLUTION: A rough surface 5 with pyramidal parts 3 ranging in parallel lines 6 is formed on one surface of a patterned film 1 in such a way that the lines 6 are inclined at a prescribed angle to each side 7 of the film 1. An optical film 140 is formed by transferring the patterned film 1 and a light reflecting film is formed by vapor-depositing a light reflecting layer on the optical film 140. In a liquid crystal display panel with the light reflecting film, the pitch of moire fringes is narrowed, the fringes are made invisible and the occurrence of moire fringe can be prevented.
