PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a minor winding device of a label paper roll capable of cutting a sheet drawn from an original roll for each row of labels, winding the sheet onto a winding roll, cutting the sheet in lateral direction, and continuously performing the end fixing of the sheet. SOLUTION: This minor winding device for label paper roll comprises a large diameter original roll 4 having thereon a sheet 3 with a large number of label paper 2 temporarily fitted thereon in multiple rows, a first cutter 5 for cutting, for each row of labels, the sheet drawn from the original roll, a windup roll 6 for winding up the cut sheet to a specified winding diameter, a second cutter 7 for cutting the sheet in lateral direction when the length of the cut sheet reaches a set winding length on the windup roll, and an end fixing sticking means 9 for sticking an end fixing tape 8 to fix the end parts of the sheet at the end part of the sheet wound on the windup roll.
