PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing dianhydrohexitol-bis-(4-acryloyloxy) acylate represented by general formula 2. SOLUTION: In a first process, dianhydrohexitol bisacylate represented by general formula 3 is biacylated using a 3-halopropionyl halide, yielding the corresponding dianhydrohexitol-bis-[3-halopropionyloxy]arylate and in a second process, two hydrogen halide molecules are cleaved from the dianhydrohexitol- bis-[3-halopropionyloxy]arylate with the aid of a base. Consequently, high-purity dianhydrohexitol-bis-(4-acryloyloxy)acylate represented by general formula 2 is inexpensively obtained by an industrially simple method in a high yield.
