PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a command transmission/reception storage device capable of receiving commands which a second control portion did not receive, among commands output from a first control portion when power is restored after the occurrence of a power shutoff state such as a power outage, and of performing control over a game machine according to the commands received by the second control portion, and a method therefor. SOLUTION: The commands transmitted by the first control portion and the commands received by the second control portion are stored respectively in first and second storage means as a history of transmissions and a history of receptions, respectively, so that after the game machine is recovered from the power shutoff state, the command which is at least one step earlier than the time when power shutoff is assumed to have occurred is transmitted again according to the history of the commands transmitted by the first control portion. The second control portion performs comparisons based on the history of the commands received and excludes overlapping commands while storing only commands not yet received into the second storage means.
