PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gas-insulation switching device capable of easily performing a withstand voltage test with a comparatively simple structure. SOLUTION: The gas-insulation switching device comprises a voltage detector 29 of a capacitor-dividing type including: a sealed conductive vessel 12 that houses a main-circuit conductor CA and a breaker 3 and is filled with an insulation gas; a main-circuit conductor CC that connects the main-circuit conductor CA to a power cable PC via a cable head 9 by forming a conductive path from the main-circuit conductor CA to the cable head 9; a voltage-detecting main circuit conductor CD of which the end is connected to the main-circuit conductor CC and another other end is equipped with a terminal 37; and an intermediate electrode 29a of which the voltage is induced by the voltage- detecting main-circuit conductor CD. Thereby, an apparatus for the withstand voltage test is allowed to be connected to the terminal 37 of the voltage- detecting main-circuit conductor CD.
