SOLUTION: In the gas measuring device periodically measuring a physical quantity changed in response to the flow velocity of gas flowing in a flow passage 3 by the thermal flow rate sensor 5 installed in the flow passage 3 in which gas passes and measuring the gas flow rate flowing in the flow passage 3 on the basis of the periodically measured physical quantity, a plurality of the thermal flow rate sensors 5 are installed in the flow passage 3 at regular distance intervals in the direction A of gas flow in the flow passage 3, and when a discrimination means 13A discriminates that the physical quantities which are simultaneously measured with each thermal flow rate sensor 5 are different, the gas flow rate flowing in the flow passage 3 is measured on the basis of the average of the physical quantities measured simultaneously with each thermal flow rate sensor 5 in which an average physical quantity calculation means 13 calculates.</p>
