PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a charging quantity accounting system, a charging device, an authorization server and a charging quantity accounting method to effect levying registered users and further, to charge batteries which need various charging voltages. SOLUTION: With the charging quantity accounting system equipped with a battery charging device 20 and an authorization server 30, the charging device 20 is structured with a charger 20A, a power supply control means 27, and a charging quantity detecting means 26A and the authorization server 30 is structured with a registered user information memory means 31, a registered user authorization means 32 for giving authorization for charging admission, a control direction outputting means 33 outputting control direction to a power supply control means 27 on condition that an authorization is given for charging admission, and an accounting means 34 for calculating cost needed for charging and levying the registered users.
