PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device enabling the user of mobile equipment to remotely apply information stored in the mobile equipment to an appliance. SOLUTION: The method and the device are for remotely applying the stored information through the mobile equipment to the appliance. The mobile equipment starts by transmitting an instruction through a communication network to a computer system. The instruction specifies the information to be processed and the appliance to apply the information. According to the instruction, the computer system takes out the information and converts the information to a document suited to the appliance. Then, the computer system applies the document to the specified appliance.
