PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic image pickup camera adopting an image data system by which image data photographed and generated by the camera can simply and surely be transferred to an external storage device. SOLUTION: In the electronic image pickup camera provided with an electronic image pickup means 1 that exposes at least an object to generate electronic image pickup data, a storage means 4 that stores the image data, and a control means 2 that applies drive control to the electronic image pickup means 1 and the storage means 4, a wireless communication means 6 that transmits image data to an external storage means 8 through wireless communication is provided to drive the wireless communication means 6 under the control of the control means 2 when the image pickup operation of the electronic image is stopped, so that the image data stored in the storage means 4 are transmitted to the external storage means 8. |
