PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve and maintain the quality of an output image by effectively preventing faulty electrification or the like caused by the excess of developer left after transfer T carried to a contact part C between an image carrier 1 and an electrifying member 2-A rotating in contact with the image carrier 1 in an image forming device using an electrifying means 2 having the electrifying member 2-A as an electrifying means for the image carrier 1 and made a cleaner-less system. SOLUTION: The electrifying member 2-A coming into contact with the image carrier 1 rotates in a counter direction (b) to the rotating direction (a) of the image carrier 1 at the time of forming an image, and rotates in a state where the difference of circumferential speed in rotation to the image carrier 1 is near to 0 at least at a part of a stage other than an image forming stage.
