PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal insulating material stopper of simplified shape for locking a thermal insulating material laid on the upper side of an inclined ceiling part at a steel ceiling joist and a steel ceiling joist receiver constituting a steel ceiling, without causing dislocation and separation. SOLUTION: This thermal insulating material stopper 30 for locking the thermal insulating material 28 laid all over the upper part of the steel ceiling joist 10 constituting the steel ceiling, in a suitable position, is composed of an engaging piece part 30a engaged into a groove 10c of the steel ceiling joist, with almost the same shape as the cross-sectional shape in the groove 10c of the steel ceiling joist formed of lip channel steel with an upward opening part of the groove 10c between lip pieces 10a, 10b, and the thermal insulating material by extending upward from the engaging piece part through a neck part 30b passing through the opening part of the groove. |
