PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device for arranging an operation receiving side element on a plane. SOLUTION: The shift lever device 10 is provided with a base 20, a shift lever 30, a non-contact switch 40 and a slider 50, and the shift lever 30 is supported on the base 20 so as to turn in an X direction and a Y direction and provided with first and second slider operating parts 32, 33 moving together with the shift lever 30. The non-contact switch 40 has an operation side element 41 provided to the slider 50 and the operation receiving side element 42 provided to the base 20 and arranged on one plane 23a. The slider 50 is supported on the base 20 so as to move only on a face in parallel with the plane 23a and provided with a first operating part receiving part 52 brought into contact with the first slider operating part 32 and a second operating part receiving part 53 brought into contact with the second slider operating part 33.
