The electromagnetic relay has a rocker armature [31] that is moved about a pivot point [32]. Spring contact elements [21,22] are mounted on holders [27,28] fixed to the armature. When actuated the armature moves to cause one or other of the bridging contacts to engage fixed contacts [36-38] in the base.
