CONDENSING UNIT AND REFRIGERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator less consuming power and safe even if an inflammable refrigerant leaks in the machine room of the refrigerator. SOLUTION: A pipe 32 and a connection part 33 are covered by a unit cover 35, and the air passage upstream side and both side parts of the unit cover 35 are covered by a shield plate 36 to suppress the rise of the temperature of a condenser 29 to reduce power consumption. Even if the inflammable refrigerant leaks from the pipe 32, safety can be secured since the leaked inflammable refrigerant 34 is diluted to an inflammable concentration or below with fresh air and the diluted refrigerant is exhausted to the outside of the machine room 21.
