FIELD: railway transport; signaling and communication. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods providing safety of traffic. According to proposed method, codes "G" and "Y" and "RY" are transmitted to locomotive by track rails. Said codes correspond to signals of light signals and are formed by sequences of ac pulses. Modulation of ac parameters of first pulse relative to second pulse in code "Y" and first and second pulses relative to third pulse in code "G", is carried out.
